From Minneapolis, Charles works on audio-related technology for Adobe Systems Incorporated. Charles is a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), a member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, a member of the Association for Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC) Technical Committee, and a member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
Originally from Spokane, WA, Charles is a classicly trained musician holding associate degrees from Spokane Falls Community College & North Seattle Community College. He studied music and audio recording at the renowned Indiana University Jacobs School of Music where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Audio Recording. During that time, he also interned for Österreichischer Rundfunk (Austrian Broadcasting) in Vienna, Austria.
Charles also holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington College of Engineering.
Charles has been an invited lecturer and educator at numerous conferences and has presented on basic audio theory, digital audio enhancement, & audio forensics. |
